Arsenal Wonderkid Max Dowman Makes History With Three Guinness World Records
Arsenal's 16-year-old sensation Max Dowman has been officially presented with three Guinness World Records certificates, capping a breakthrough season that rewrote Premier League and European history.

Arsenal's teenage sensation Max Dowman has officially entered the record books — three times over. The 16-year-old was presented with three Guinness World Records certificates on Thursday, recognition of a breakthrough season that has rewritten Premier League and European history. Dowman became the youngest player ever to feature in the UEFA Champions League when he lined up away at Slavia Prague last season at just 15 years and 308 days, shattering the previous mark held by Borussia Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko by 75 days. In March he became the Premier League's youngest ever goalscorer at 16 years and 73 days with a stunning solo strike against Everton, and in May he became the youngest player to win the Premier League title at 16 years and 144 days as Arsenal ended their 22-year wait for the crown. The England Under-19 international's accolades arrive as he features in the new "Class of '27" edition of the Guinness World Records Football book. Dowman, who first trained with Mikel Arteta's senior squad at 14, has already made 15 appearances since his debut off the bench against Leeds in August 2025 — when he famously won a penalty within minutes of coming on. He has also agreed a pre-contract on his first professional deal with the champions, which takes effect when he turns 17 on December 31.
