Argentina Make Three Changes as Nations Championship Squad Is Confirmed
Felipe Contepomi's 33-man Pumas squad for the final stretch of the Nations Championship drops Santiago Carreras, Thomas Gallo and Santiago Grondona.

Argentina have confirmed their 33-man squad for the final stretch of the Nations Championship, making three changes from the group that assembled in London. Felipe Contepomi's squad completed a three-day training camp in the English capital and will reconvene in Dublin ahead of next Friday's meeting with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium. Santiago Carreras, Thomas Gallo and Santiago Grondona are no longer included. Facundo Isa has been called up in place of the injured Grondona, while Rodrigo Martínez and Mateo Soler have been added. The Pumas will follow their Dublin opener with a trip to Genoa to face Italy on November 14 before meeting France at the Stade de France a week later. They will then return to London for the Nations Championship Finals Weekend at Twickenham from November 27 to 29, with their opponent still to be determined. The squad blends experience and youth, with forwards including Pablo Matera, Julián Montoya, Marcos Kremer and Tomás Lavanini, and backs including Tomás Albornoz, Mateo Carreras, Santiago Chocobares and Juan Cruz Mallía. For Contepomi, the final stretch is a chance to measure his side against three of Europe's leading teams and to finish the Nations Championship campaign on a high before the Finals Weekend in London.
