Afghanistan prepares for India T20I showdown with Rashid Khan leading powerful spin attack

Afghanistan is getting ready for another big challenge as the team prepares to face India in a three-match T20I series in New Delhi.

The first match is scheduled for September 13, followed by two more games on September 15 and 17.

Ibrahim Zadran will lead Afghanistan, but a lot of attention will also be on Rashid Khan. Rashid has been one of Afghanistan’s biggest cricket stars for years, and once again he will be an important part of the team’s bowling attack.

Afghanistan also has plenty of other dangerous spin options, including Noor Ahmad, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Nangyal Kharoti. That could make things interesting against a very strong Indian side.

There are some other familiar names in the squad too, including Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Mohammad Nabi, Azmatullah Omarzai and Gulbadin Naib. Naveen-ul-Haq is also back after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Playing India in India is never going to be easy, but this is also a great opportunity for Afghanistan to show how far the team has come.

With players like Rashid, Gurbaz and Nabi involved, this should be a really interesting series to watch.
